Japanese Genmai Tea - Traditional Japanese Chai

Originated from Shizuoka, Japan, created from a blend of steamed Sencha green tea and roasted brown rice, Genmai is one of the most popular tea varieties in Japan. With sweet green notes from the Sencha and toasty nutty notes from the brown rice, the result is a rich non-bitter flavour. Because it’s a blend, this  Japanese  Genmai tea has lower caffeine levels when compared to non-blends.
